A2 Christian Fellowship @ Stanford

Broomball!

October 25, 2009 · Leave a Comment

We’re having an All A2 broomball event. What that means is that we’re combining groups from Stanford, UC Santa Cruz, and San Jose State to play broomball at the Cupertino Ice Center on November 7th at 10pm. However, this event will be preceded by an awesome pot luck dinner that the staff is preparing at 7pm.

If you’re unsure whether or not you want to attend because you don’t know what broomball is, you can check here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broomball, but I can just sum up the game for you in one word: Awesome.

Really, it’s a lot of fun. You play “hockey” on ice with shoes on, and a “broom” instead of a hockey stick. And, if you don’t really want to play, there will be plenty of people along the sides of the rink just chilling (pun fully intended).  It’s a good time for fun and fellowships. Oh…and eating.

If you would like to attend, contact Tim (email listed in the “contacts” part of this blog).

Anyways, we hope you can make it out.
